about

The Blueberry Moon was inspired by Southampton’s waterfront and is a romantic and atmospheric acoustic ballad.

The single was recorded and produced by Nick Bowen at Quay West Studios in Gosport and features Jamie Wilson on cello.

‘It’s a song full of romance and atmosphere’
‘an achingly beautiful track and yet another sign that Jim Chorley’s star is in the ascendency’
Adam Jenkins ( Fatea music magazine)

lyrics

The BlueberryMoon

1, We were standing by the waters edge
The night was in our eyes
Underneath the Itchen Bridge
One Summers night...

As we watched the ships set sail and leave
We wished them on their way
you whispered in my ear and said
You were here to stay...

Chorus,
I found myself falling
A little deeper for you
Underneath The Blueberry Moon...

2, Now the magic of one million stars
Never could compare
to the storm that was breaking in my chest
There were waves crashing in my head
As you told me all the things you knew and...
All you hoped would pass
How you prayed that it could be true
If we would only ask...

Chorus,
I found myself falling
A little deeper for you
underneath The Blueberry Moon...

Holy vision in the night
In the silver shadowed light
As you held me next to you...

Underneath The Blueberry Moon
